Do your products have scannable unit and case UPCs?

Do you have confirmation that you are the owner of your UPCs from a GS1 Member Organization?

Is the product in Canadian compliant packaging, or is it stickered to become Canadian compliant?

If you currently do not have Canadian compliant packaging, are you prepared to create Canadian compliant packaging to launch in Canada prior to first order?

(Non-Canadian brands) Are you able to transact in Canadian dollars? This allows you to have more control on currency fluctuations and allows for consistency in pricing.

Do you have listing (slotting) fees available? Listing (slotting) fees are charged by most major retailers, it is the cost of having your product on their shelves. Most independents, and Walmart do not charge listing fees. Listing fees can range from one free fill per SKU, to $40,000 per SKU depending on the category.

What is the shelf life of the product?

How many SKUs are you looking to launch and what are their suggested retail prices?

What is the minimum order quantity per SKU, if a distributor were to pick-up the product? What is the minimum amount of product (i.e. one pallet) that a distributor could order, if they were picking the product up at your facility?

What are the annual sales in the current country you are sold in? (Please include Canada if the product is sold in Canada, but it is not your primary market)

What category does your product fall under? (i.e. Natural, Confectionary, Snacks, Frozen Meat section, etc.)

Where in store is the product currently sold (i.e. natural section, dairy section, etc.)? Or where would you like to see it sold?

Who is your competition? Please list at least 2 competitive brand names. This provides context for your brand and helps us understand positioning in the category.

What are your long-term plans and strategy for the brand in Canada? (i.e. line extension/additional products, etc.)
